Fine silent things you look for in the empty space
I found an empty space that has now become weak in my father's interpretation of the meaning by reading silently from his late grandfather's letter 40 years ago. Reading the letter together, I felt like a tourist in their relationship.
In the empty space, only the items on hand are kept as if they were on a trip for a while. There is definitely ramen left, which was not enough for two bags, and their favorite things are forever left as 'likes'. Even when my short hair was tied for a long time, there are only things that I can no longer know my intention, and all that are hand-picking and analogy made by existing information.
Witnessing events in which the void of familiar things sent away is filled with foreign energy, one asks what are the unspoken nonverbal signs. What can we witness in the microscopic unspoken spaces left behind? Here we find life and death, humans and nature, objects and people, trying to interpret the unspoken energy that comes from the void that we feel from the things surrounding us. Only then do we feel that each of the subtle things has an unspoken sign.
The series "Fine silentist" captures the relationship between the event of encountering an object and the 'fine unspokenness' made in sightings. It is close to visualizing the 'something' in the volatile space and dying time to provide an experience that allows us to sense the existence of silence that must be met and interpreted.
I hope it will be a time to focus on the things we should not forget in our lives and check nonverbal relationships.
